Kelly Hjelle began her insurance career in 1989 and joined Thompson Insurance, a division of Warner and Company, in 1995. She specializes in all lines of business insurance including group life and health. 

Kelly is very active in the Grand Cities community. She is a past president and current board member of the Sertoma Club of Greater Grand Forks. She is involved in the Grand Forks Chamber of Commerce and is on the board of the East Grand Forks Scholarship Foundation. She has also served on the board of directors for Artwise. She is a member of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of East Grand Forks, Minnesota and volunteers for the United Way. 

Kelly and her husband, Garret, have three children.
